Welcome to 5th Flock Spirit Co. Before placing an order or entering a competition, please take a moment to read these terms carefully. By using our website or shopping with us, you agree to everything below.

1. Legal Age & Responsible Enjoyment

We only sell alcohol to individuals aged 18 or over.
By placing an order you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You are of legal drinking age in your country of residence.
• We may request age verification before dispatching your order.
• We reserve the right to cancel any order if we suspect these legal requirements are not met.

2. Payment

We accept all major payment methods listed at checkout.

• A pre-authorisation check may be performed when you place your order.
• Your card will only be charged once your order is approved.
• If payment fails, your order will be cancelled — but we’ll always notify you.

We do not store your credit card details and never share payment data with third parties.

We use Stripe as our payment gateway. You can read their privacy policy here.

3. Returns & Refunds

If you’re unhappy with your purchase, here’s how to return it:

• Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order via hello@5thflock.co.uk.
• Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition and packaging.
• Return postage is your responsibility (unless the product is faulty or incorrect).
• Once we receive the return, we’ll process your refund or exchange.

4. Faulty Products

If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to fix it:

• Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@5thflock.co.uk.
• We’ll cover return shipping for faulty items.
• If a fault is confirmed, you can choose a full refund or replacement.
• If no fault is found, we’ll return the product to you (postage at your cost).

5. Damage in Transit

We take great care to ensure that our bottles are wrapped up safe and warm – so much so that we use the fleece from our flock of sheep for extra protection. In the unlikely event that your parcel arrives damaged:

• Please contact us at the distillery within 3 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order details.
• Where we receive suitable proof of the damage, we’ll arrange a refund or replacement — whichever you prefer.

6. Incorrect Items or Quantity

Did we send the wrong thing? If so, please let us know via our usual email: hello@5thflock.co.uk

Once we have received the goods back, we will arrange a return as detailed above at no cost to you and arrange for the correct item to be sent out by express delivery. Or give you a refund if you prefer.

This also applies if we have been a bit over enthusiastic and sent you too many bottles.

7. Competitions, Giveaways & Promotions

We love running competitions and giveaways. By entering, you agree to the following:

• You must be 18 or over.
• No purchase is necessary unless stated.
• Entries must be submitted before the deadline — late entries won’t count.
• Winners are chosen fairly and contacted using the info provided.
• Prizes may include 5th Flock Spirit Co products or gifts from our trusted partners.
• We aim to fulfil prizes on time but are not liable for third-party delays.
• Prizes are non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
• We may amend or cancel promotions at any time.
• By entering, you consent to us contacting you regarding the competition and, with your permission, publicly announcing you as the winner.
• Some competitions may include additional terms — please check the specific entry details.

8. Liability

5th Flock Spirit Co is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of profits
• Any issues arising from your use of our website or products, except where required by law

9. Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos, and content on this site are the property of 5th Flock Spirit Co.

You may not copy, reproduce, or use any material from our site without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be resolved in the English courts.
